Hi and welcome! This space is one dreamed of for many, many moons. For all that which propels us further home, for all beautiful bits of the puzzle and a garden from which to grow, through all of the avenues that continuously enliven the heart. Enter the labyrinth.

Classes and all found on this site are intended for ALL beings and all levels of experience. Though I intend to share as best I can pieces of what I have learned through continued training and practice in the schools of Hatha/Vinyasa and Kundalini and 15 years of experience in yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, nutritional wellness and more, my only wish for this space and it’s contents are for it to serve as an offering and compassionate nest, like a breadcrumb trail through the forest leading to a glimmering waterfall of eternal joy. In the unlock and expand sections you will find stories, musings, bits and bobs, travels, and information I have personally found useful or impactful. Always keep in mind that works for one may not work for another, this life is one size fits one, so as always, listen to your heart and your body. In the spirit of change that is the nature of life on this planet, I look forward to watching how Qui Amar evolves and I am so glad you are here!

While the word 'yoga' can mean different things to many, and take on many different forms, we can all pretty much agree that all beings want to be free, loved, and embody their true essence. The ultimate goal, whatever it may look like, is to set us free from of what is getting in the way of the pure perfect light of what IS and let that be reflected in US. Joy in the heart, strength and fire in the belly, glimmering clarity and sharpness of mind, these are elements of our true nature. What we often perceive as our 'fixed state' is one of imbalanced energy patterns, distorting our view and creating dis-ease. Fortunately, through practice, we are able to use these tried and tested tools to bring us back to equilibrium, to ourselves, so that we may access our infinite potential, and beyond.

Through movement of the physical body, intentional use of the breath, sound and silence, we fine tune our being, shedding layers of what may hold us back, and gain strength both of mind and body, peace, wisdom, and understanding. Other incredible benefits include but are absolutely not limited to: improved sleep, decreased symptoms of anxiety, depression, restlessness and nervousness; increased focus and mental clarity; increased lung capacity; increased muscular strength and mobility; improved digestive processes; reduced stress; pain management; joy. Whatever your personal reason may be for practicing, these are methods, YOU are the medicine.

Classes found on this site may include everything from physical movement and breathing to mantra, chanting, meditations and more. Live classes will be held on Zoom. A large portion of class structure and sequences are in the style of Kundalini but will also include elements of Vinyasa as well as mantra.

Right! Here we have a shard off the iceberg. And with that, a humble toast to realization of truth and freedom and peace for all! It is the right, responsibility and honor of the individual to embody their true essence for the benefit of all. Thank you for being HERE!
